Kris' recent work involves experimentation with mixed media, book binding and collage, ball point pen drawings, and various printmaking processes.

They incorporate themes of nature and human emotion in their work, often examining the struggle that ensues between the two and the transformations that result inside the self. Their pieces also have a heavy focus on mental health and the way we process illness and healing. Kris encourages viewers to look at their work as a reflective lens: aspects of humanity represented by the creatures and elements that we share the world with. Their work is both a critique and exploration of what it means to be human. Are we surrounded by chaos, or are we following a web of thread?
